CUSTOM SIZE GUIDE PRODUCT TEMPLATE
How to link up a product with a collection's size guide specific for that item type and collection:
CREATING A NEW SIZE GUIDE FOR A NEW PRODUCT:
1. Create a new collection that product will be in.
(In this example, a new collection titled "TEST" is used)
2. Add product to collection
(either through product page or through collection page)
3. Add a tag to product
(this tag will be used as a filter, ie. "hoodie" / "pants" / "shoes"
4. Click on "More actions" under the main product title
(in this example product, title is "CUSTOM SIZE GUIDE PRODUCT TEMPLATE")
5. CTRL+Click on "Edit Metafields"
(Will open a new tab instead of redirecting you)
6. Click on "Resource List" at top, then click on "Collections"
7. Find the new collection you have made and click on it
(This example product uses the "TEST" collection)
8. Click "Create metafield"
9. Your namespace value will be the tag you added previously to the product
(This example product uses the "test" variable)
10. Your key value will be the collection name
(In this example "TEST" will be entered)
11. Add whatever details in the Rich Text editor below.
ADDING A NEW ITEM TO A COLLECTION WITH SIZING:
1. Go to "Metafields Guru" and navigate to the collection you want to add the product to
2. Check the namespace variable for the item you want to attach, add that namespace variable as a tag in the product
3. Add the product into the collection named the same as the Key value in the collections metafields
To link a product and a sizing guide:
1. Add the product you want sized into the collection
2. Add a tag in the product that matches a "Namespace" value in the collection's metafields
How size guides and products are linked can be changed and edited in
